Re-purposed Materials

Wixia’s pieces include reworked vintage and costume jewelry components, secondhand or deadstock materials, and bits of nature. Wixia’s materials are never drop-shipped. Every part is sourced as locally as possible, whether secondhand or new, to reduce the environmental impact of shipping.

Stories

Over the past several years, I’ve hand collected many of the raw materials in places I’ve lived or visited such as rose quartz from South Dakota, sea glass from Lake Michigan, or Mica from North Carolina. Take a peek at the descriptions for stories behind some of the materials!
