The earrings that make people ask, "Wait, are those teeth?" Yep. These handmade potion bottle earrings contain ethically sourced cow teeth inside miniature glass vials topped with cork. When I was a farmhand, we had a herd of cow mamas who lived long, healthy, free roaming lives and only passed of old age. I believe it's important to honor the lives of animals, and one way I like to do this is by preserving bones and teeth and turning them into pieces to admire. Each miniature bottle is approximately 1 inch tall and features a small floral-shaped metal finding above the cork. These dangle earrings are a combination of natural history specimen, apothecary bottle, farm relic, and wearable oddity. The concept is especially close to my own approach to making. I like finding beauty in things that people might otherwise overlook, and I like giving materials another life whenever I can. These earrings take that idea pretty literally. They make a particularly good fit for witchy, gothic, cottagecore, farm-inspired, oddities, nature-loving, and alternative wardrobes.
