These little bottles look like they've collected pieces of a very tiny night sky. Inside each miniature glass vial are deep blue crushed glass and pieces of mica that I hand-picked in North Carolina. The mica is one of my favorite details in these earrings. It has that naturally layered, reflective quality that makes it catch the light from different angles, and the dark blue glass gives it a deep, almost midnight-blue color. I love using materials that have a connection to a specific place. The North Carolina mica makes these more personal since they came from clay soil that my neighbors and I unearthed when we built their house together. The miniature bottle shape gives the earrings an apothecary or tiny potion-bottle feeling. They'd fit right in with witchy jewelry, cottagecore, fairycore, nature-inspired outfits, gothic accessories, or an eclectic wardrobe that doesn't fit neatly into one aesthetic. Each bottle is approximately 1 inch tall and finished with a cork top. The dangle earring style gives them a little movement when worn. The deep blue color also makes these surprisingly versatile. They'd look great against black, charcoal, navy, cream, brown, denim, or other earthy colors, and the mica adds just enough natural sparkle to keep them from disappearing into a darker outfit.
